Trojans hand Pirates their first loss of the season

The weekend series was a tough one for the Trojans with more errors than this web dude could keep up with and a pen that gave up more than 40 hits through the series. But there was some great plays also which included Cameron Peterson going 3-4 out of the box, Brandon Peterson pitching the last game holding the Pirates to 3 runs allowing for our first victory against the Pirates, and of course the standup 2 run HOMERUN hit by Kyle Reese against Daryl Norris on our field.  That was worth 4 dollars!

When the dust settled and the smoked cleared the series did go to the Pirates 2-1, but the Trojans have lifted the Fairhope black cloud that was hanging around and thank goodness it only took 4 games to do it.

The Trojans will be traveling to Citronelle to play the Wildcats on Tuesday for a 6:00pm game. Hope to see everyone there!

GO TROJANS!

Note: The Diamond Club would like to thank all the volunteers who helped make the weekend series run smoothly and for all your hard work behind the scenes.

Trojans Shutout Hartselle

Friday night was busy for the Daphne Trojans starting out with a lose against Cullman 3-1. The game ended with two runners on base and the last hit smashed out to left field, but Cullman stayed defensively strong. The second game against Hartselle ended in the 6th with the 10 run rule. The Trojans are now 4-3 with next games 3 games against Fairhope.

Next game: At Fairhope 3/5 6:00pm

What a night at the Hank!

The Trojans opened the first inning at the Hank with Jordan Blanchette cranking a home run over the right field wall scoring two runs. But the Fairhope Pirates would answer back in the next inning with 6 runs encouraged by two Trojan errors. The deficit would be too much for the Trojans to battle back from with a final score of 10-5 Fairhope.

Daphne will host Auburn on Thursday night...we look forward to seeing everyone at Trojan field.

GO TROJANS!
