Trojans hand Pirates their first loss of the season
[img_assist|nid=290|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=150|height=75]The weekend series was a tough one for the Trojans with more errors than this web dude could keep up with and a pen that gave up more than 40 hits through the series. But there was some great plays also which included Cameron Peterson going 3-4 out of the box, Brandon Peterson pitching the last game holding the Pirates to 3 runs allowing for our first victory against the Pirates, and of course the standup 2 run HOMERUN hit by Kyle Reese against Daryl Norris on our field. That was worth 4 dollars!
When the dust settled and the smoked cleared the series did go to the Pirates 2-1, but the Trojans have lifted the Fairhope black cloud that was hanging around and thank goodness it only took 4 games to do it.
The Trojans will be traveling to Citronelle to play the Wildcats on Tuesday for a 6:00pm game. Hope to see everyone there!
GO TROJANS!
Note: The Diamond Club would like to thank all the volunteers who helped make the weekend series run smoothly and for all your hard work behind the scenes.
